1. Overview
MelodyForge provides custom creative services. Because our work is time-based and often results in bespoke digital deliverables, refund eligibility depends on the project stage and what has already been produced or delivered.
2. Custom Work & Digital Deliverables
Most projects involve unique composition, sound design, mixing, and related production. Once work starts, time and resources are committed. For that reason, deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable after production begins, and delivered digital files are generally not refundable except where required by law.
3. Refund Eligibility by Project Stage
Before work begins: If you cancel before we begin and before any planning time is consumed, you may request a refund, minus non-refundable processing fees (if applicable).
After work begins: If you cancel after work has started, we may offer a partial refund based on the portion of work not yet performed. Time spent, completed drafts, and delivered milestones reduce refundable amounts.
After delivery: After final deliverables are delivered or made available, refunds are generally not available due to the nature of custom digital deliverables.
4. Revisions and Quality Concerns
If your package includes revision rounds, we will honor them as described in writing. Requests that exceed the original scope (e.g., major style change, additional runtime, new deliverables) may require a revised quote and timeline. Creative preference disagreements alone do not automatically qualify for a full refund once substantial work has been performed.
5. Client Delays
Timelines depend on your timely feedback and approvals. Delays caused by missing materials, late responses, or scope changes are not grounds for refund.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a billing error occurred, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in paused work and withheld delivery while the dispute is reviewed. We may provide evidence of work performed to payment processors.
7. How to Request a Refund Review
Please provide your name, project reference (if any), payment date, and a short explanation. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable business timeframe.
8. Processing Times
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing time varies by provider and bank. Some transaction fees charged by processors may be non-refundable.
9. Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
